Library Systems FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions about our new library systems, SuperSearch and our new catalog - Fall 2022.

How to request items for pickup in the library

You can use SuperSearch or the Library Catalog to request that items be held for you at the main service desks in the Art, Music, and Clapp libraries. This service was previously called Wellesley Library to Go. Please note that items need to be picked up from their permanent library locations.

Once we receive your request, we will gather your item(s) and send you an email when they are ready to be picked up. Items will be held for 14 days before they are returned to the library shelves.

If the item is checked out, we suggest you instead place a request through Interlibrary Loan to receive the item more quickly. Requests for checked-out items will not be fulfilled until the item is returned.
