There is a chance that the measure you need is in the published literature, but has not yet been referenced in any of these directories. Using keywords to denote your interest areas, you can use the database to find citations for and links to articles in your interest area. If the article mentions the use of a test or measure or describes its development, you will find the name of the test in the Tests and Measures field.

ICPSR: Inter-University Consortium of Political and Social Research
Repository of downloadable data that can be used with statistical software packages. Search your topic, then select "Related Literature" link to find articles using that data.
General Social Survey - 1972 to present
The most frequently analyzed source of information in the social sciences after the U.S.Census. It includes questions, data, codebooks, and analysis.
