SPAN 302: Cervantes: Find Internet Resources

The Cervantes Virtual Centre ( CVC ) is a site created and maintained by the Instituto Cervantes of Spain in 1997 to help spread the Spanish language and Hispanic cultures.

Publishes scholarly articles in English and Spanish on Cervantes' life and works, reviews, and notes of interest to cervantistas.

It encourages scholarly exchanges on all aspects of the author, his works, his circle, his times, and scholarship on the era, and welcomes participation by scholars/specialists from all disciplines.

Links to scholarly resources in Iberian Studies, curated by the European Studies Section (ESS) of the Association of College & Research Libraries.

1. Publish the Cervantes International Bibliography Online, and thel Anuario Bibliográfico Cervantino in Internet, first studies bibliographies, editions and translations of Cervante´s works.

2) Publish electronic editions of the complete work of Cervantes, with multiple search tools.

3) Create a digital archive of images about the time and work of Cervantes, to put in service of teaching and investigation.
