WRIT 166: Say Less, Do More: How Communities Are Built

1. Appointments

Click here to make an appointment with me to chat about finding sources or citing them:

2. Whiteboard

3. Reference Sources

Type some key terms from our brainstorm into the search box of one of these databases to start this activity in class. Browse the articles and come up with at least two key terms for us to use in a search. Add them to the whiteboard.

4. Find articles and books

Daria will show you how to use the key terms you found in part 3.

5. Telephone

Follow Daria's directions to play a game of telephone as a class to get some ideas for your topic!

6. Rinse, wash, repeat!

Use the whiteboard to do the same activities using your own research topic. Feel free to use additional databases, linked on the Find Reference Sources and Find Scholarly Sources tabs.
