The library catalog is another way to search for books, ebooks, and videos. Although SuperSearch includes the library catalog, searching the catalog separately can give you a smaller, more focused set of results. You can also use the subject terms to browse related materials.
Try a keyword search. Once you find a book that's relevant to your topic, click on the title and look for Subjects in the record of that book to help you find "more like this."
Sample keyword search for
leads to linked subject terms and more books related to this topic:
Clicking the first word or phrase above will show you everything listed under the broader topic (e.g., Advertising). Clicking a subsequent word or phrase will take you to the narrower topic (e.g., clicking Social Aspects will show you everything listed under Advertising > Social Aspects).
Not finding enough? Search WorldCat and request a copy through Interlibrary Loan.
Do you need a resource that Wellesley does not have or that is currently checked out? Have you hit a "pay wall" while looking for the full text of an article or book chapter ? Place an ILL request and we'll try to get it for you!
InterLibrary Loan (ILL) is the sharing of library materials worldwide. We find and borrow the resources you need from other libraries that Wellesley does not have available and lend our materials as well. Loan requests (books, dvd/cds, scores) will be sent to our library for you to pick up and electronic requests for articles, book chapters or eBooks are sent to your ILL account as pdfs.
How do I login to my ILL account?
Login to your ILL account using DUO.
How do I make requests? Use the tabs on the side menu to find out more about placing ILL requests.
