What is EndNote?

EndNote is citation management software you download onto your computer that will allow you to:

  • Store your references and link them to your PDF files
  • Organize your references into searchable groups
  • Automatically generate reference lists
  • Work with Microsoft Word to format your in-text citations and references
  • Allows you to switch between hundreds of reference styles, with the touch of a button
  • Share EndNote libraries with colleagues
  • Sync libraries to EndNote Online and access them at any computer with internet access
