From keywords to subjects

Try a keyword search. Once you find a book that is relevant to your topic, use the subject headings of that book to help you find "more like this". Here are some useful subject headings for this course:

Combining terms in a search

Use AND to combine terms in your search:  hip hop AND politics

Use OR to expand results:  hispanic OR mexican

Use * to find variant endings, or as a wild card:  wom*  latin*

Use " " to search words as a phrase:  "hip hop"
